Track every device. Account for every shift.
The Teldio Inventory Management System ties radios and shared devices to the people who carry them, giving operations a live view of who has what, when they took it, and when it came back.
The problem
Shared devices walk off without a system.
Most organizations with shared radios or devices lose track of them. Shifts change, crews swap radios mid-shift, and some gear walks off-site. By the time anyone notices, replacement orders are already in the cart, with no audit trail to explain what happened.
The Teldio Inventory Management System fixes that with a simple workflow: scan the device, scan the employee badge, and the system records the assignment, the time, and the return. No paper logs. No spreadsheet to rebuild every Monday.
What it does
Everything you need to track shared devices.
Live asset tracking
See which employee is assigned to each device, improving efficiency and accountability.
Automated reporting
Daily logs delivered to your inbox in CSV format. The administrative work, gone.
Audit trails
A comprehensive, searchable record of every checkout and return.
Seamless integration
No new hardware. A Teldio Edge Gateway and a basic HID scanner bring your existing radios and assets online.
Touchscreen kiosks
Works with touchscreen kiosks for high-volume check-in and check-out.
Built for the floor
A clean, web-based interface anyone can use without training.
Two-way radio integration
Sign in right on the radio.
Inventory Management is built for the two-way radios your team already carries. Scan a radio and a badge to check it out, or skip the scanner entirely: on Motorola MOTOTRBO radios with the sign-in feature, like the R7, employees sign in on the radio itself and you still get the full assignment history in IMS.
You can even require sign-in before a radio can be used, so every radio is always accounted for.
How it works
Three steps, every shift.
1. Pair at shift start
Scan or enter the device and employee ID. The system logs the assignment and the time.
2. Track through the shift
The device stays paired to that employee for the duration of the shift.
3. Return and report
The return is recorded at end-of-shift. Daily CSV reports go to operations or facilities, and the audit history stays searchable.
What you get
Three measurable outcomes.
Asset visibility
A real-time view of asset status, usage patterns, and last-known user, for better resource decisions.
Lower costs
Fewer lost or stolen assets means lower replacement spend.
Accountability
Every device assignment is logged. Losses are traceable to a person and a time.
